YUM! Honestly, this is the best cookie I have ever made. I usually make them a little bit bigger than the ones in the picture, but in any size they are delicious!

2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup butter, melted
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1 egg
1 egg yolk
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups macadamia nuts, chopped, if desired
2 cups white chocolate chips
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt in a small bowl. In another bowl, beat together the melted butter, brown sugar, white sugar, egg, egg yolk and vanilla until creamy.
Add the flour mixture to the sugar mixture. Stir in the nuts and chips.
Roll into balls, or drop by the spoonful, onto a greased or parchment lined baking sheet.
Bake for 15 minutes or until the edges look golden brown.
